In Memoriam.

Mr. Huffman passed away on March 13, 2013 following a lengthy illness. Mr. Huffman was born in Rowan County, North Carolina on June 3, 1932. He attended college at Appalachian State Teachers College before joining the United States Army and serving a tour of duty in Japan during the Korean War. Upon his return home, he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving both a Master of Education and then his law degree.

Mr. Huffman began his law career in Monroe, NC in 1961 where served the people of Union County until his eventual retirement in 2010.  He felt that the practice of law was a noble calling and that each client deserved his respect and attention.  His devotion to client-centered representation remains the focus of the firm he founded. He will be sorely missed.
